Online Shopping Terms & Conditions
1) About us:
Perris Archery is a place where customers have come to expect service that does not come to an end at the door on the way out. It is a service built on friendship and customer loyalty and with your continuing support we can continue to offer competitive prices and the same excellent service year after year.
2) Making a purchase:
We hope you find the site simple to use, but if you encounter any difficulties please contact us. Simply browse our online store, and if you would like to buy any items click the 'Add to Shopping Basket' button, after you have finished your selections, click on 'View Shopping Basket' if all OK click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
When the order is correctly received by us you will receive an email and the screen will also confirm a reference number to be used in all correspondence..
If you do not receive an email it could be that this was entered incorrectly, please call us to rectify this.
To speed up any queries it would also be very helpful if you could provide a day time telphone number.
We have added a login facility where you can use your registered email and password to see the progress of your order.
3a) Payment options UK & Channel Islands:
We accept most major credit, charge & Amex cardsonline together with alternative payment methods which are advised at checkout - Payment by Cheque, You may also advise us of your credit card details by phone, even a Bank Transfer although a cheque is cheaper.
For security reasons never send any credit card details to us by e-mail.
For payments by cheque please attach a copy of the Order Confirmation email making the Cheque payable to 'Perris Archery' Postal address Perris Archery, Fennes Estate, Fennes Road, Bocking, Braintree, Essex, United Kingdom, CM7 5PL.
3b) Payment options for Export (Overseas) Orders:
Perris Archery NO LONGER accept credit card payments without prior agreement for overseas orders. At this time the quickest payment methods are A) Western Union Money Transfers or B) International Bankers Transfer. Please select paymeny by BACS at checkout and we will contact you to organise the payment.
3c) Secure Payment processing.
In order to comply with new rules and regulations set down by the credit card companies we have updated our credit card processing procedure.
We now use NETBANX as our main secure payment gateway (this gives us no access to sensitive card information). However this new procedure does mean that payment for goods is taken at the time of placing the order so also see changes to acceptance of order - item 11 below
Important: Please note that once you have completed entering your payment details on the totally secure encripted Netbanx server and they have been authorised you will then be asked to return to the online shop. At this point some internet browsers will indicate that you are now re entering a non secure website, this is quite normal and you can be assured that nobody can see your order or the payment details you have entered.
3d) Title to goods
Title to goods does not pass to the customer until the goods have been shipped and full cleared payment is received by us.
4) Prices:
All prices displayed on this online website include UK V.A.T. at the standard rate (17.5% and 0% on Books 1/1/2010) and are subject to change without notice

Our prices and shipping costs do not include any Customs & Excise duty or local taxes that might be due.
5) Shipping And Handling:
We ensure that orders are dispatched as quickly as possible, normally the same day or within 2-3 days and shipped by the fastest and most economical route. Most orders are shipped First Class, Special Delivery or FEDEX UK (mainland UK only) at our discretion. If you require a faster delivery please contact us so that we can process the additional charge and confirm that the item is in stock.
We endevour to deliver goods as soon as possible and you should expect expect to receive your order within 14 working days subject to the item being in stock. We will contact you by email if an item is out of stock and give you the opportunity to back order or cancel.
Stock levels: We try to maintain good stock levels on all items listed but given the multitude of options szes and colours this is not always possible. To reduce waiting times we order and receive stock deliveries on a weekly basis. For items out of stock we usually place orders on Mondays and receive the items on the Friday thats why we quote 5-14 days for items that need to be ordered in.
5a) FREE STANDARD UK DELIVERY ON ORDERS OF £20.00 or MORE.
The offer applies to Mainland UK deliveries only and excludes remote areas where a courier (FedEx) charge an additional fee. this offer excludes all types of Bosses, Stands, Target Faces (shipped in bulk), Gift Vouchers, Books DVD's & Magazines.
Standard UK delivery costs for items that do not qualify for free delivery are calculated by the shopping cart.
Note: The shopping cart does not calculate delivery for "Large" items to remote areas of the UK that are at our discretion not suitable to send by Royal Mail, in these instances we use Fedex UK. Remote areas in the UK are those defined by Fedex UK, before accepting and processing your order we will contact you to confirm the delivery surcharge.
Please contact us direct for better delivery rates if you are ordering in bulk.
5b) Delivery areas:
We currently use 2 delivery methods: Royal Mail & Fedex UK.
In our standard delivery area (Dark blue on the map) we will choose the most cost effective and appropriate service.
For items out side of this area we will use:
Royal Mail: For small items and those weighing under 1.5kg and no bigger than 610mm x 460mm x 460mm (standard Royal Mail Small Packet) we use Royal Mail. Items sent by this method will have the delivery cost calculated by the shopping cart and apply to the whole of the UK. Please note longer items like arrows/shafts and stabilisers will also be sent Royal Mail. Small items like these do not incur an additional charge for UK deliveries but there will be an additional charge for items Outside the UK.
If an item is sent by Royal Mail and qualifies under the terms of our free delivery offer then there will not be a surcharge in the UK. If you buy two items and one that does not qualify for free delievry the items may be shipped in the same package and you will be charged the delivery cost shown at checkout.
Fedex UK: For large bulky items and those that weigh over 1.5kg or at our discretion are too costly to send Royal Mail.
Standard delivery costs calculated by the shopping cart or items that qualify for free delivery will only be shipped without any courier surcharge if the delivery is to an adress within the Dark Blue area on the map below.
The mainland UK post code areas listed below fall outside of Fedex UK standard rates and will be subject to a surcharge which we will confirm before processing the order. Don't forget small light items as described above will be sent by Royal Mail in the UK will not incur a surcharge

7) Our Guarantee:
All products sold are brand new, unused and as supplied directly from the respective manufacturers and/or distributors. We do not sell second hand or used products unless clearly specified otherwise. No items are sent out on a 'trial' basis. The warranty period between Perris Archery and the customer is strictly 12 month's from invoice purchase date, regardless of any warranty replacements.

9) Our Privacy Policy:
Perris Archery will not disclose our clients’ information to third parties. Cookies are not used to track orders through the system but we do use cookies to help us monitor and improve the performance of the site. Credit card details are NOT stored on the secure server once the order has been shipped.
From time to time we will send out emails or post material about Perris Archery and special offers, if you do not wish to receive these please email us and your information will be removed from these mailing lists.
10) Returns Policy:
We want you to satisfied with the goods supplied by us so we are happy to abide by the UK's distance selling regulations.
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of certain items within 7 days of delivery. You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example the making of custom strings, made up arrows or cutting shafts to length).
We regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for goods that have been, used, installed, packaging defaced or are in a non re-sellable condition as new.
To return goods, please contact us for a 'Return Authorisation Code'. Once you have this authorisation please package the relevant item securely and send it to us with a copy of the authorisation number so that we receive it within 7 working days of the date that the item was delivered to you. Our return address is PERRIS ARCHERY, Fennes Estate, Fennes Road, Bocking Braintree, Essex, England, CM7 5PL. Remember to mark package and/or customs labels with 'Returned Goods' - For added protection, we recommend that you use a recorded or insured delivery service, Perris Archery is not liable for any loss or damage whilst in return transit.- Please note that you will be responsible for all the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty on delivery. Refunds will be processed as soon as possible and no later than 30 days from the receipt of the returned goods, subject to meeting in full all requirements as set out above.
11) Acceptance of an order:
No contract will subsist between you and Perris Archery for the sale of products by us to you until you receive an email confirming that the goods have been shipped and on their way to you. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your offer and to have been effectively communicated to you. This is to be interpreted and enforced with the laws of England, in its entirety and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
12) Contracts:
Contracts formed between Perris Archery and users as a result of using this site shall be governed in all respects by English law and all such users hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
13) Additional Terms and Conditions for the - 5% Discount for Repeat Customers.
Registered online customers can now get 5% off their second and subsequent orders.
If you are already a customer and use the login facility then you will be able to benefit from this promotion immediately. But back orders and retrospective discounts are not allowed or included.
A registered customer qualifying for this promotion is one that has ordered and fully completed at least one order online. Orders placed at one of our Pro Shops, mobile shops or over the phone do not qualify.
Perris Archery reserve the right to withdraw the promotion at anytime.
Uncompleted orders (not qualifying for the promotion) are where the customer may have ordered items online but has returned the goods for a full refund, or in someway not completed the order or taken delivery of the goods.
For first time customers when you complete the checkout procedure you are asked for some details including your email address and a password. These details can then be used to login next time saving you time filling in your details. Please note we do not hold customer credit card details on file
If you complete these details with your order then you will be able to login in the future and automatically receive a loyalty discount of 5% off any subsequent orders you place with us. This promotion excludes any delivery charges that may apply.
Delivery charges are subject to our standard terms and conditions of our free delivery offer. So orders must total £20.00 or more after the discount has been applied to be considered for the free delivery offer.
You must use the login email and password registered with your first order to qualify for the discount, it is your responsibility to securely keep a record of your login details and password, and the discount cannot be retrospectively applied if these details are not used when you place the order online.
Refunds and the return of goods are subject to our standard trading terms and conditions and monies refunded will be the actual amount paid by the customer using one of the accepted methods of payment, not the amount of the order before the discount was applied.
Products excluded from the Repeat Customer 5% discount are : All Training courses, Coaching Courses, Books, DVD's, Magazines, Gift Vouchers, All types of Bosses & Stands.
