This is a really nice looking and well made handle, certainly looks the part for juniors and shorter draw adult archers will feel they have not been short changed with the 23" or 21" handle.(Bow lengths 64",66"68" or 62",64",66") respectvely
Both the 21" & 23" handles will also appeal to the field community as this makes for a good looking short field bow, especially in the darker colour schemes.
This handle has international fit limb pockets (ILF).
The Hoyt Excel is Hoyt’s first all-new 21” target riser in more than 30 years, going back to the legendary TD2. Also available in a lightweight 23” model, the 808-gram Excel is positioned as a high-performance starter and intermediate bow. But, with features normally found in high-end bows, such as an all-machined aluminum riser and the low-torque Hoyt Ergo Grip, Excel is sure to appeal to advanced shooters looking for a shorter and lighter bow.

Leon Newby - Essex
The 21" riser is a great beginners bow for the smaller junior archers. Bluntly, Imogen won national medals with her riser and allowed her to concentrate on her archery with little fuss of riser alignment. ILF allows you the scope for non Hoyt limbs to save money. This is a simple and we'll made riser.
